The individual steps are 7″ high - and a roomy 18½″ wide and 11½″ deep. The stairs feel firm and stable to your pet, not bouncy or spongy like plastic or foam. The ultra strong plywood internal construction holds up to 300 lbs. Optional protective non-skid pad recommended for hardwood floors or other smooth surfaces. Plush, quality carpeting for extra grip.
