The New Wave Penthouse Potty is topped with K9Grass – the only artificial grass designed especially for dogs. K9 Grass is manufactured with a special “flow-through” knit backing which provides for instant drainage and it is tough enough to endure years of chewing and digging. For superior performance and cleanliness, the proprietary wide-blade monofilament yarn used in K9 Grass has built-in antimicrobial protection and can be re-sanitized with warm water and mild disinfectant.

- K9 Grass: A revolutionary synthetic grass manufactured to be durable, drainable, cleanable, and safe for dogs. With minimal training, most dogs quickly adapt to the faux grass; and, if necessary, the specially scented spray included with your doggie potty will help encourage your dog during the initial transition period. (If you prefer a more natural surface, real sod and grass can be purchased from your local nursery.)
- Drainage Tray: The patented, specially designed Penthouse Dog Potty drainage tray is made of highly durable odor, weather and acid-resistant polyethylene.
- Catch Pan: Unlike the unwieldy cookie-sheet style drainage trays used in other dog potties, the New Wave Doggie Potty has a compact 6-quart catch pan which sits beneath the drainage tray and collects pet urine and rainwater (when used outdoors). The easy to handle container comes with a snap on cover to prevent spillage when transporting and the fluids can simply be flushed down the toilet on an as-needed basis.
